Objectifying Identity is an ongoing series which investigates the personal stories contained in everyday objects. From the mundane to the personal, items that hold a special significance reflect a much broader portrait than a traditional depiction of the face and body. Those objects we hold dear create our stories and show the world who we are. Through collecting and depicting these objects of personal meaning I hope to distill and create a different kind of self portrait--one that represents identity beyond the body.
